UK Working Visa
If you would like to enter Britain and work for a British company you must first apply for a UK Working Visa and pass the necessary requirements.
There are different UK Working Visas each with different specifications.
UK Working Visas now fall under Tier 1 and Tier 2 of the Points Based immigration system. In 2009 a new Working Visa immigration system was introduced that was intended to make the current system in place more consistent and straightforward.
By using a points based system for Working Visas means that a more accurate decision making process was in place.
Tier 1 of the Points Based immigration System (PBS) is structured to allow non-EEA nationals whom will contribute most to the economy to immigrate to the UK.
A Tier 1 Work Visa application doesn't require the applicant to have a sponsor. It is solely based on the applicant successfully achieving points.
Highly skilled applicants fall under the Tier 1 Work Visa category.
